Refund & Return Policy

At Threadrootstory, we strive to deliver premium-quality sarees and ensure customer satisfaction. However, if you receive a damaged or incorrect product, we offer a return or refund subject to the terms below.
1. Return / Refund Eligibility
A return or refund request will be accepted only if all the following conditions are met:
- The request is raised within 3 days of delivery
- An unboxing video is mandatory, recorded from start to end without cuts or edits
- The product is unused, unwashed, and in its original condition
- Original tags, packaging, and invoice must be intact
Requests made after 3 days of delivery will not be accepted under any circumstances.
2. Unboxing Video Policy (Mandatory)
- The unboxing video must clearly show:
- Sealed package
- Shipping label
- Complete opening process
- Product condition
❗ No unboxing video = No return or refund
Images or edited videos will not be accepted.
3. Valid Reasons for Return / Refund
Returns or refunds are applicable only in the following cases:
- Damaged product received
- Wrong product delivered
The following are not considered valid reasons:
- Minor color variations due to screen or lighting
- Personal preference or dislike
- Size, texture, or weave expectations
- Sale or discounted items (if applicable)
4. Return Shipping & Courier Charges
- All return shipping and courier charges must be paid by the customer
- Threadrootstory does not provide return pickups
- Shipping charges (both forward and return) are non-refundable
5. Refund Process
- Once the returned product is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection
- If approved, the refund will be processed within 5–7 business days
- Refunds will be made to the original payment method
For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be processed via bank transfer or UPI after confirmation of details.
6. Exchange Policy
- Exchanges are subject to product availability
- Exchange shipping costs must be borne by the customer
- Only one exchange per order is allowed
7. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:
- Sarees purchased during sale or clearance
- Customized or altered products (including blouse stitching)
- Products without original tags or packaging
8. How to Raise a Return Request
To initiate a return or refund, contact us within 3 days of delivery at:

9. Final Decision
Threadrootstory reserves the right to:
- Approve or reject return/refund requests
- Reject claims that do not meet policy conditions
- Modify this policy without prior notice
